Located a few hundred meters from the Citadel of Blaye, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Château La Voile d’Or was owned by the Duke of Saint-Simon to whom King Louis XIV visited several times, he greatly appreciated the wine.
What is La Trinquette? The French translation is An invitation to the pleasure of toasting and also the name of the small bow sail of a ship.
