Visit of the underground passages of the citadel
Let yourself be guided through the Citadel of Blaye and discover the Lock of the Estuary (or defensive triptych), a famous defense system developed by the engineer Sébastien Vauban.
Life in the fortress, evolution of the site, the guides from the Blaye Tourist Office will reveal all their secrets to you!

Departing from the port of Blaye, discover Vauban’s work “The lock of the Estuary” from the river, built to prevent the English from retaking Bordeaux. A friendly hour-long stroll, commented by the sailor accompanying you.

Journée découverte
Nous avons passé une excellente journée ! Historique, visite des chais, explications claires et très intéressantes. Balade en petit train à la découverte de la Citadelle. Repas top et vins délicieux.
